Hey guys,
I wanted to wait until the entire holiday journal rush was over in order to welcome all of my watchers into the new year of 2009! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. 2008 was a fantastic year for me - full of many, many, many radical changes and firsts. I just hope 2009 will be a good one as well!

I haven't picked up my camera in agessssss...I'll try and change that. I'm home from school until the end of the month, so I'm going to be bored out of my mind. I just got back from spending a week out in Whistler snowboarding - I've been sick though, so didn't get to go out every day. I'll be heading to Georgia for a few days in two weeks to celebrate my great-grandmother's 97th birthday, so you can expect pictures! I'll actually want to be outside with my camera in the warm weather.

Anywayyyyy, I hope everyone is well and 2009 is beginning on a good note. Thank you so much for all of your support.

It's December!!! I had a wonderful Thanksgiving at home with my family, friends, and pets, and now I'm back at Mount Holyoke for the remaining three weeks of the semester. Exams, here I come!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This is a bit ironic, actually. Yesterday, I opened up a new journal entry and named it "Precious Stones" although planned to fill it today. Last night, I heard of a Sumner Stone at Amherst who is officially now engaged to his girlfriend, Precious. Eh?

All is well with me, studying hard and partying hard. I'm thinking about transferring to Amherst next year...I'll do the application and see what happens. I love Mount Holyoke, but at times it gets suffocating. I'll have a car next semester, though, which will help tremendously. Also, Martin will be here with me next semester! It will be so good to have my horse here with me, to have that outlet to escape to when I want to ride and surround myself with horses. The spring will be busy with lacrosse, however; D3 intercollegiate isn't high school.

Anyway, the reason I created this journal was to share with you a selection of artists which I've discovered over the years here, giving you guys a little taste of what's been in my devWatch. Some you will know, many you might know, and quite a few are known by very few. Enjoy!
